To prepare security strategy ahead of World Cup 2014 and Olympics 2016, police in Brazil will be equipped with special glasses. With a glass eye, police can identify criminals face in the crowd like Robocop in science fiction movies.
Within a distance of about 45 meters, eyeglasses RoboCop can scan 400 faces per second, compared with 46 000 points biometric data on terrorists and other criminals. When there is a face that is recognized, the red light will appear in the frame.
These glasses have been tried by police officers in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paolo. Robocop Glasses considered one of the right solutions in Brazil in terms of solving the search problem criminals in the crowd.
