How to Add Google +1 Button in a Blog

Aside from the popular Google Buzz, Google has recently released thier newest sharing button called the Google +1. Just like Facebook Like Button, Twitter's Tweet Button, etc., the Google +1 Button allows every webmaster to share links and articles more conveniently in the internet.

It works significantly as a recommendation link to your family and friends or even the world wide web that found something interesting to recommend.


How to Add Google +1 Button in a Blog

  • Go to Google +1 main page to generate a +1 Google button code, it has 4 buttons like Small (15px), Standard (24px), Medium (20px), Tall (60px) buttons.
  • Copy the following code you've generated in the place of your page where your Google +1 button will appear. You can either first select the Language you may want, but it is more recommended to choose the default "English (US)".

  • In the "Advanced Options" you can check or uncheck the "Include Count" if you want to appear the count number next to +1 button.

  • If you're done customizing the +1 button, you may now copy and paste the code in your blog's template
