Google launches +1 for websites Google launched +1 for websites this week. The service allows you to give a story on your favorite website a “+1” rating similar to the way you might Like a link on Facebook. +1 votes are then integrated into search results, allowing your friends to see that you've recommended a particular story. Stories you give a +1 to will rank higher in web searches made by your Google contacts.
