Wellington - An international Internet group said that if a region in New Zealand is a center of cyber crime.
Tokelau, three small islands of New Zealand located in the north of Samoa, was given his name as a domain. tk. The evidence suggests that the site address Tokelau (. tk) dominate the internet in cyber attacks.
In a phishing attack, an email sent to addresses at random, which asks users to enter the site shopping, banking and auction sites fake. Similarly, as quoted from Stuff, Thursday (28/04/2011).
Institute of Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG) at the Global Phishing Report states that most of the domain associated with phishing attacks come from South Korea domain and Tokelau Islands.
APWG also said that the number of phishing attacks in mid-2010 came from the islands of Tokelau.
Meanwhile, the researchers also found that approximately 28 percent of the registered domain of the area devoted to crime.
"phishing attacks itself comes mostly from China, although many are made to attack the Chinese e-commerce sites,"said the APWG.
