Business of The National Trust recommends families to re-love the idea of a picnic on the basis of a survey which found that more than 9 out of 10 families like to eat in the open, while remaining grounded fear of an unpredictable weather.
Another family is more worried about the invasion of insects and wasps, which is why they feel the location of a picnic in the open fairly limited. And difficult to prepare a variety of food to be brought out and not the least of their worries would be dirty food exposed to dust or sand from the location of the picnic.
"Picnic is something very common in England, but the family does not need to wait for summer to picnic. Spring has arrived, and is a great time to enjoy nature while enjoying the food," said Director General of The National Trust, Fiona Reynolds.
"Spending more time outside is also perfect for refreshing body and mind," lid Fiona.
